Prof. Farhat Hasan

Farhat Hasan holds his doctoral degree from the University of Cambridge ( Cambridge, UK). He is a professor in Medieval and Early Modern South Asia, and has extensively worked on the political culture and literary trends in the Mughal Empire. He is also interested in the Indo-Muslim politics and culture in the colonial period. He is the author of ' State and Locality in Mughal India: Power Relations in Western India, c. 1572-1730' ( Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 2005).
